No, you do not need to have any prior experience to enjoy and benefit from this training! The curriculum will begin with foundational Human Design concepts and proceed into more nuanced and complex aspects of the system. We will teach you all of the foundational information you need in order to keep up with the more advanced aspects of Human Design.  

For those who do have prior experience we will be providing a level of depth and nuance that is hard to access if you are self-studying and that is often missing from other training programs. You will also benefit from real life examples provided by Nadia and Sam, accumulated through facilitating hundreds of Human Design readings.

This class is a hybrid of recorded live classes, as well as lectures. We taught our fourth and final round of live Human Design Training in fall 2024. We recorded that class, with permission, and are offering the recordings as a self-paced course. However, to teach gates and channels, we recorded that materials (17+ hours of content) in a lecture format without any students. This allowed us to take more time and provide the material in a more linear, accessible manner. In the self-paced HDT, we also include bonus videos with the more informal class discussion of the gates content, as well as our planned lectures.

Yes, you will have all of the information and resources you need to understand a Human Design chart and provide insights and guidance to others based on their chart.

You are not required to purchase a textbook for this program. However, Sam and Nadia highly recommend that you purchase the Definitive Book of Human Design by Ra Uru Hu and Lynda Bunnell. The curriculum will include recommended reading from this text. It is a cornerstone of Human Design literature and will serve as an invaluable resource as you proceed through your Human Design education.

We will be covering, at a high level, the concept of colors and the four transformations (appetite, environment, view, motivation). We will be covering this in a bonus video that will be ~ 3 hours long.

However, the curriculum will not include a deep dive into color, it will not discuss tone, and will not dive into the full PHS or Rave Psychology systems, as it is a very complicated and nuanced aspect of Human Design. Unfortunately, we cannot provide adequate instruction within the time limitations of this program. Further, for most people, incorporating variables into your Human Design experiment is discouraged for the first several months or years as it can act as a distraction away from more crucial elements like strategy and authority.
